The Opportunity

We are seeking suitably qualified candidates for the position of Senior Lecturer / Lecturer (Practice) in a field of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, or Occupational Medicine to join the Clinical School Johor Bahru in the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The positions are in the “Practice” roles, where appointees are expected to bring recent, ongoing or extensive experience and knowledge of contemporary clinical/professional practice into the role.

The successful candidate will have a PhD or professional doctorate in Medicine or equivalent, with relevant post-qualification professional experience. Candidates with a medical degree with the specialist register with the Malaysian Medical Council are encouraged to apply. The incumbent will be expected to teach and supervise students as well as conduct clinical research, exercising evidence-based medicine and patient safety.
